Hunter Cole creates photographs of human figures (portraits; nudes; installations) illuminated by a glowing blue light created by bioluminescent bacteria. Cole is recognized among the innovators in the art/science genre, and is one of the first artists to produce significant works using bioluminescent light.

I purchased this sculpture in the gift shop at the Louvre on a trip to Paris with my Dad. That trip to Paris inspired my art career. My Dad, now passed away, was always the biggest supporter of my art. I still feel his support.
